Description of Proposed Development:

325 Centre Street is a vacant lot on the north side of Centre Street in Angus. The property is approximately 11.8 hectares in size.

The proposed Official Plan Amendment and Zoning By-law Amendment would redesignate the lands from “Residential – Future” and Environmental – Flood Prone Areas” to “Residential”, “Open Space”, “Transportation and Utility”, and Environmental – Wetland”. The lands would also be rezoned from “Residential, Low Density, Detached (R1)” and “Environmental Protection (EP)” to Residential, Low Density, Semi-Detached with Special Provisions (R2-XX)”, Open Space (OSP), Public Services (PS), and Environmental Protection (EP). The applicant proposes to development 120 residential units consisting of the following:

92 Single Family Detached Dwellings

28 Semi-Detached Dwellings

The applicant is also proposing to develop an Open Space Block, a Wetland Block, a Parkland Block, and a Stormwater Management Block.

The Township is in receipt of materials intended to support the applications, which can be accessed by contacting the Township Planning Department.
