Notice of the Passing of a Zoning By-Law Amendment (File No. Z10-22, 6030 County Road 10)
The Township of Essa is undertaking a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) to evaluate options that would address deficiencies associated with Bridge No. 9 on the 5th Line over the Nottawasaga River. A Public Information Centre was held on December 13, 2023 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm. A copy of the presentation materials is now available for viewing.
Council of the Corporation of the Township of Essa has scheduled a Public Meeting on the 6th day of December 2023, to consider a proposed Zoning By-law Amendment Z14-23 under the Planning Act. The purpose of the Public Meeting is to introduce proposed Amendments to the Zoning By-law in accordance with Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O., c.P.13, and to hear comments and review written submissions from the public and other plan review agencies.
TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Essa will hold a Public Meeting on Wednesday the 1st day of November, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. at the Township of Essa Administration Centre, 5786 County Road No. 21, located three (3) kilometres east of Baxter, to consider a Zoning By-law Amendment under the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13.
The Township of Essa is set to launch it's Automated Speed Enforcement (ASE) Program, a road safety initiative pilot project designed to work jointly with other current speed reduction measures to improve safety in our communities.
TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Essa will hold a Public Meeting on Wednesday the 18th day of October, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. at the Township of Essa Administration Centre, 5786 County Road No. 21, located three (3) kilometres east of Baxter, to consider a Zoning By-law Amendment under the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13.
Council of the Corporation of the Township of Essa passed By-law No. 2023-57 on the 20th day of September, 2023, under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13, as amended. The purpose of the By-law is to rezone subject lands (6404 11th Line, Essa) from Agricultural (A) to Agricultural with Special Provisions (A-1).
TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Essa passed By-law No. 2023-56 on the 20th day of September, 2023, under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13, as amended. The purpose of the Zoning By-law Amendment is to rezone subject lands (231 Barrie Street, Thornton) from Residential, Low Density, Detached with Special Provisions (R1-41) to Residential, Low Density, Semi-Detached with Special Provisions (R2-11) to allow for residential uses.
