Potential Canada Post Strike: Stay Prepared

With a potential Canada Post strike on the horizon, the delivery of important paper bills may be impacted.

To avoid delays, we encourage residents to consider these convenient options:

The Township of Essa hereby advises that the 5th Line between Denney Drive/19th Sideroad & 20th Sideroad will be closed as Canadian Pacific Kansas City Railway will be conducting track repairs. There will be access for local residents only. The road will be closed from June 29th to July 5th.

Although every effort will be made to limit the amount of disturbance to the residents / merchants, some inconveniences such as impeded traffic flows and access to driveways / merchants are to be expected.
