Public Notice- Flood Forecasting and Outlook
Due to the significant amount of snow this winter season. There is a high potential for flooding based on the snow accumulation and potential heavy rain, snow melt, high wind and other conditions that could lead to high runoff, cause ice jams and flooding or erosion in spring.
The Township will be placing sand & sandbags at the end of Park Rd, at the intersection of Simcoe St & Water St & the Angus Firehall early spring.
The Public works Department will be monitoring the weather & make the materials available as the snow begins to melt in early spring.
The below maps identify designated pick-up locations.
