NOTICE OF ROAD MAINTENANCE - STREET SWEEPING

Please be advised that the Township of Essa will be starting the annual street sweeping maintenance program.

The scope of work includes the following:

  • Street Sweeping of all Municipal Urban Areas

Street sweeping will commence on April 1st, 2025. We request that no on-street parking takes place until all street sweeping is completed.

Anticipated schedule:

  • Tuesday, April 1st, 2025- Village of Thornton and surrounding areas.
  • Wednesday, April 2nd, 2025- Angus starting on Centre Street and continuing until all municipal urban areas have been completed.

Township bylaws prohibit the placement of dirt and other debris onto the roadway. This can create hazardous conditions for drivers.
