Update: New Playground at Maplewood Community Park
We are pleased to provide an update on the upcoming construction of the Maplewood Community Park playground located at 191 Maplewood Drive in Angus. Construction is set to start mid-June 2024, with substantial completion targeted for early fall. This new playground will offer a safe and enjoyable environment for children, featuring state-of-the-art play equipment and a thoughtfully designed layout.
To give our community a detailed look at the planned playground, we are excited to share the CAD drawings of the playground specs. These drawings illustrate the playground’s design and the various features that will soon be available for everyone to enjoy.
Please note that the Stonemount Community Park located at 152 Greenwood Drive in Angus will be closed for community recreational use effective September 3, 2024, as the Simcoe County District School Board (SCDSB) prepares to develop and construct the new elementary public school on that site.
