What do I do if the Item I would like to pay is not listed above?

If the item that you would like to pay is not listed above, you can make your payment using one of the following methods:

Virtual City Hall

You can now access detailed account information for your property taxes and utility bill through our new Virtual City Hall service portal.  Virtual City Hall provides residents the ability to view detailed account information and/or make payments to both property taxes and water accounts instantly with the click of your mouse.  Users can also search for properties within the Township of Essa. 

Please be advised that a service charge of 2.9% is applied by the service provider Bambora to cover processing costs for payments made using credit cards.

In Person

Cash, cheque or debit is accepted and can be made by physically attending the Administration Centre located at 5786 County Road 21, Utopia ON.  

Mail

Cheques are accepted as a form of payment.  They can be mailed to:

Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) Payments

If you have a bank account with chequing privileges at any financial institution, trust company or credit union, you can take advantage of this payment system.  Complete and submit the online EFT Authorization Payment Form with a VOID cheque.  This will serve as the Township's authorization to automatically withdraw the identified payment from your bank account using the payment option that you identified on your form.
