Essa's accessible canoe and kayak boat launch officially opened on May 18, 2022.  The Boat Launch is located on the west side of the Nottawasaga River beside Angus Community Park located at 6 Huron St, Angus.

Currently the Township of Essa has one boat launch but is looking forward to constructing more canoe and kayak launches in the future for everyone to enjoy the beautiful Nottawasaga River.  There are no fees to use Essa's canoe and kayak launch.
