Council of the Township of Essa do hereby recognize May 14th, 2025, as Apraxia Awareness Day. We encourage the citizens of Essa Township to work together to increase awareness and understanding of childhood apraxia of speech.

Starting the week of April 28, regular bi-weekly curbside collection for leaf and yard waste will resume across the County of Simcoe (excluding Barrie and Orillia). Residents will receive three collection weeks, coinciding with their garbage collection weeks.
